Jewelry care guide
Here is a non-exhaustive list of tips to preserve the beauty and longevity of your jewelry:
- Remove your jewelry before washing your hands or taking a shower.
- Do not apply perfumes or detergents to your jewelry.
- Avoid swimming in chlorinated water or seawater.
- Take off your jewelry before going to bed.
- Avoid contact with hard, rough, or abrasive objects.
Regarding the maintenance of solid silver and brass jewelry:
It is normal for metal jewelry to tarnish if not worn regularly.
To revive the shine of a metal piece of jewelry, the simplest solution is to rub it (avoiding contact with any set stones) with the polishing cloth provided with your purchase.
Another option is to buy a special silver or brass polishing solution from a hardware store and apply it directly to your jewelry following the instructions for use.
Regarding the maintenance of solid gold jewelry:
Solid gold jewelry requires little maintenance as it does not tarnish. However, to preserve its shine, clean it regularly with warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush, then rinse it thoroughly and wipe it with a soft cloth. Also, avoid prolonged contact with chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage its surface.
About the Pearls
The pearls I select are 100% natural and untreated, formed through a slow and precious living process. Unlike synthetic or visually perfect pearls, each one is unique, with subtle irregularities, surface textures, and natural imperfections — all signs of its authenticity.
Pearls are organic materials, created within living organisms. While not fragile in the conventional sense, they do require special care to maintain their natural glow. They love being worn: regular contact with the skin naturally hydrates them, helping preserve their luster over time.
However, pearls are sensitive to chemicals, perfumes, creams, and both chlorinated and salt water. To protect their beauty, it is recommended to:
• remove them before swimming (pool or sea),
• avoid exposure to cosmetics or cleaning products,
• store them in a soft cloth, away from humidity and direct sunlight.
Choosing jewelry made with natural pearls means embracing a living, singular material full of character — no two pearls are alike, and that’s exactly what makes each piece so special.
